Battery appears to be as specified. Putting the battery in the solar system is a little confusing. How to charge, connect multiple and ultimately hooking in to system indicates there are risks involved. Different from lead acid. Successful in getting it installed though

I purchased this 100 amp battery for my new electric Old Town fishing kayak recently. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I have used this kayak while fishing for flounder several times near my home in North Myrtle Beach, SC and I have been very satisfied with the run time. I have pushed the electric motor of my kayak hard while fighting the wind and tide for hours while fishing and this battery as delivered as advertised. The light weight and fast charging time of this battery has made the extra cost when compared to a regular marine battery well worth it. I will see how the battery holds up over the long term, but right now I would recommend this battery.

  8. David L

Purchased two of these for use in a custom built motorhome. Haven’t installed them yet and am in the process of charging them up before use. The packaging was exceptional and the manual/materials are also quality. Very happy with my purchase so far. The seller/manufacturer has already reached out a couple of times to follow up on the purchase. Makes me feel like they want to ensure I am happy with the purchase and that they’ll support their product 110%. Will update after installation and some use.

I’m running two of these in a custom power chair, connected in series making a 24v system. These batteries will run me for 2-3 days where 2 group 24 flooded lead acid batteries, less than 6 months old a full day, max.Nominal voltage on lifepo4 is higher than a fully charged lead acid battery so keep that in mind.I have a 150 amp robotics controller with 2 24v 80 amp motors and my only problem now is keeping things cool.I’ve upgraded fans and these batteries also power 3 small blower fans any time the chair is on.These are Great batteries and im buying more for other applications. My only concern is longevity of the pouch cells from shock and vibration.I would recommend these to anyone.

  12. Don

I had some questions with connecting 2 of these batteries together. Elaine with customer service answer all my questions and follow up afterward to make sure all was good. The 12v 200ah self heating battery good buy and the customer service is excellent.

  13. Dave

So far I’m digging them, though we just used them this last weekend in our travel trailer.

  14. Patrick

The seller promptly refunded the money. which I am grateful. Apparently – this was a failure due to a defective power supply that also damaged the power station which was taken to Batteries Plua for proper disposal of the Lithium battery cells inside.Amazon’s response “there was nothing further that Amazon could do ” was a poor response to a good customer.

  15. GREGORY MOSS

This battery’s weight is far below what I expected. And the power curve is phenomenal!!!! I will never use lead acid for my small watercraft again if I can help it.

  16. Marivic Leslie

Great, I now have three of them in my RV and am pleased with the performance. Relief from AGM or Lead Acid Batts.

  17. Mari Castellano

Great at helping me with my problem and fast delivery.

  18. DougDoug

I’m going to rate this a 4, for the fact it doesn’t effectively draw more than 50A per battery, in my usage. “Effectively” since I’m experiencing the issue where it can’t draw 60A-65A per battery for more than about 30 mins. This is well below what the rated Wh/Ah capacity should allow, and well below the claimed 100A BMS draw rating.More precisely, if I run a roughly 1400W load on an 85-90% efficient inverter, which is about 1600W, pulling 115-130A total between properly paralleled batteries on 4/0 cable at 12v, the inverter will kick off after about 30 mins, with the batts under load showing about 12.0v. I have a shunt to measure all this. This of course assumes the inverter is running properly. Given it’s a 3kW inverter outputting at 50% and is new as well, I’m assuming the batteries are lacking a bit. Either internal resistance dropping voltage too much, or overheating, or the BMS kicking in for whatever reason. I feel no excessive battery heat in my tests. Further, in controlled testing at 2000-2500W, these batteries simply cannot output enough current to keep the inverter running more than 5 to 10 seconds. That would equate to roughly 100A draw per battery.I’ve contemplated getting a 3rd of these to make a 300Ah bank, since at this point, given money into the inverter and the small space for another battery, this mini is otherwise ideal. A 3rd would reduce draw in my highest usage case to around 40A per battery. At that draw I have no yet observed problems running these down much lower. All in all, I’d buy these again for a lighter usage case scenario. I view these as energy storage rather than high W energy providers, and would avoid them for high W burst use.

  22. Chipster

These batteries are great so far. They saved me over 180 lbs on my boat! Plus I get 80% of the capacity vs 50%. I had questions and the company was very helpful.

  23. Kevin

I have nothing hooked up to this battery and I lost 10% over night (approximate 10hrs). I used the recommended amp LifePo4 charger and confirmed it charged to 100%.

  24. Durbind

If you have not switched over to a Lifepo4 battery you need to. The benefits of longevity and weight alone make this battery work the buy. I also use this battery to power a few items in my house with a 1200w inverter to power some gadgets in the house when the power goes out.. Will be buying another very soon

  25. Mark

Update 6-21-23. Battery was delivered to my house in Phoenix today early in the day. Don’t know how they did it but I can appreciate the fact they e-mailed me and said they had made a mistake in shipping. Thecustomer service was fast and I was informed of the situation. The battery looks great and being the mini very lightweight and small in size for a 100ah battery.I have had a 50ah Plus for a few years now with no problems so I do recommend this company.

Batteries were very well packaged and arrived undamaged. Really like the light weight. They are larger than I was expecting, but for 100ah lithium they are compact, these are the first lithium batteries I have owned and looking forward to using them on my boat. They are half the weight of the old SLA batteries I was using but have four times the usable energy storage. The 5 year warranty makes these a great value.

Update: returned after a month. Not charging up, either BMS or human error on my part. Had great reviews on youtube. Bought for boat, bow to run two Garmin Ultra 126 graphs, Livescope, and a Gramin Hub. Since the battery does not have a built in app to test volts/percentage, I bought a Bluetooth Lithium Battery II for it. Ran everything constant for 4 hours fishing and had 66% left on battery afterwards according to the app and was 13.25 v . According to the math that’s near about correct with pulling about 9 amps total. I should get about 11 hours total with the setup. I fully charged the battery as indicated above after fishing, 100% @ 13.57 v.

  31. Bill J.

I have not used the battery as yet. Still working on the project but I’m sure it will work out just fine with certainly a lot less weight.

Bought one of these batteries for my golf cart to replace the lead acid batteries. Just on the weight difference it’s a big improvement. It worked perfect from the initial install. Got 18.5 miles out of the 1 battery and that was in range of the advertised range. I also had my foot on the pedal pretty hard as well so I think had I not been so foot heavy it would have went farther. This was a great upgrade at a very good price. I would highly recommend this battery for anyone changing from lead acid to lifepo4.

  34. Gilles

It has worked perfectly on my boat (which appreciate the lighter weight compared to an AGM or lead acid). It powers my small fridge and all lights. The voltage barely goes down when the fridge runs. After a whole night it barely shows a discharge and then the sun charges it again. Beautiful. Works great. I was having a horrible experience with sealed batteries just dying on me all the time.

  35. Charles W.

Solorage has very good customer service and they make an exceptional product. I now have 3 of their 100 aH mini 12 volt batteries, and as I expand my system, I’ll buy more.

I installed this in my 36v golfcart to replace 6 6v lead acid batteries that were perfectly fine. I wanted more range and less charging time. I have had them for over a year and it is a complete game changer. My cart goes over 30 miles without recharging and I can charge anytime. I don’t have to charge every time I use it and I can run the battery down to almost zero. Great product. Should have a lithium charger to charge them. You can also buy a 36v lithium battery instead of 3 12v batteries like I have.

I have a 12v 55lb minnkota trolling motor and I ran 2 group 24 lead acid batteries under the front deck of the boat. I would just swap from one to the other when I was running out of juice. This 100ah battery is sooo much better. Love the full power through the entire draw down, love the lifespan being waaaay longer than both lead acids combined, love that it is so small and light I stuffed it in the rear bilge area and now the boat handles better without all that weight up front (I’m set up a little rear heavy as it is which is why I had that configuration). Got a noco genpro 2x10A to charge both it and my lead acid cranking battery and it works great. As the title says, wish I did it years ago. Although this battery size and price point didn’t exist a few years ago, but you get my point. Can’t recommend enough.**UPDATE 11/7/23**Just wanted to circle back to say that I have had a number of questions regarding the battery over the course of this summer/fall and I have received great support from Solorage. I have always gotten an email response within 24 hours and they have resolved every question I have had. So to this point the customer service has been excellent and I wanted to share that with anyone hesitant to pull the trigger.

I have three of the Solorage batteries, and I am using them for boating and other off-grid purposes. I monitor their performance with various Victron bluetooth metering devices. Its not possible to report on performance for a battery that is going to last for 10 years, but so far things look good. I am draining the batteries fully a good proportion of the time, and monitoring cumulative Ah drained, as well as voltage and amps. I did think of returning one of the batteries I bought, because it was the larger 100 Ah battery and I really wanted another mini, but the return process is not the standard Amazon approach but the “send you a label and you ship it at your cost” type of thing. I did not do it in the end, and kept the physically larger 100 Ah battery as a general purpose spare.Anyway, so far these batteries have proven to have a bit more capacity than advertised, they are really very small, kneat looking, light to haul around, smooth to operate, and generally pleasing. They are so much better than Pb-acid to the point that I just cannot see ever buying lead -cid again. Its sort of like buying an electric car; you wonder why you ever put up with a gasoline car in the first place. My next purchase is going to be a bunch of heated Li-ion batteries so they can be charged outside in the cold of Connecticut for my main off-grid installation. Working on that….

I bought 4 of these batteries to power my 48 volt inverter. One of the batteries disconnects when supply any current, making the other 3 batteries useless. Amazon says they are not returnable, so my only option is to spend another $600+ for a replacement and hope I do not get another defective one. I am very dissappointedLi Time offered to refund cost of battery, and sent me a return shipping label. In the interim, I purchased a replacement batter (12V 200amp) which works correctly. Because of their excellent customer service and prompt refund, I have upgraded my review from 2 stars to 4 stars.

After allot of help from Solorage, my two, 200 amp-hour batteries connected in parallel are working Great. I needed to learn that these batteries are significantly different than the lead acid batteries I had been using for 20 years. They need to charge at a higher voltage (14.4/14.6 vdc) and they are not fully charged until then reach and maintain (after no charging for 30 minutes) a voltage of at least 13,33 vdc and thus they need to get to around 13.7 vdc when charging to be near 100%. At the voltage that a lead acid battery is fully charged these batteries may only be at or less than 25% charged given their ‘State of Charge’ curve. After I accepted this and made the appropriate charging changes to include getting new Li chargers, these batteries have performed very well.I did an abbreviated load test on one of the 200 amp-hour batteries using a 275 watt resistor which was powered for 7 hours starting at 13.15vdc/21.23 amps, ending at over 12.71vdc/19 amps showing these batteries will provide the watt-hours advertised which is more watt-hours of power than I have measured from similarly rated and tested lead acid battery banks. The key to success is getting these batteries fully charged. My batteries power an ‘off the grid’ cabin using 500 watts of solar panels, which seemed to be adequate for the lead acid batteries but the Li batteries need about twice this amount to get fully charged during the short and cloudy winter days so I will be adding panels this summer to further improve their performance.I have a pair of these batteries located under the back of the cabin (see picture) and thus the light weight is a huge benefit as they are easier to install and maintain than the four 6-volt golf cart batteries I used before them and also now I do not need to climb into the space and check/refill the cells (see picture).I must add that due to my lack of understanding in the differences between these batteries and lead acid batteries they did not initially perform as expected and I needed support from Solorage and they provided EXCEPTIONAL support and were very understanding given my lack of knowledge.

I can’t give much of a review as I just received it this week. Yesterday I installed it in my RV to replace the two 3-year-old lead acid batteries that were giving out. Based on a spec comparison, it should provide much more usable capacity than the 2 batteries it is replacing along with much longer life. This battery weighs <20 lbs while the 2 it is replacing weigh a total of >90 lbs, a substantial weight savings. If you put one in an RV, make sure you have, or install, a Lithium compatible converter (charger).

I installed these yesterday in a Forest River Class C motorhome and have been testing them, so far I am very pleased. I have been in contact with LI Time several times now (emails only, no voice contact is possible). Their responses to my questions are thorough, accurate and VERY prompt. Most likely these are Chinese folks that are responding, but if so their English writing is perfect. If you want, you could test them before you buy and ask any questions you might have and see the quality and promptness of their responses. You will be impressed. The product manuals, packaging, speed of delivery, and customer service, are all excellent. Also, there are youtube videos out there where they rigorously test and take apart these batteries and they are highly recommend by the non-affiliated test people. They report on the excellent design and internal quality so I recommend you seek out and view those videos before you buy.Note if you’re installing these in a Forest River Class C motorhome you’ll probably have to make the battery box (located under the entry stairs) opening slightly larger as theses batteries are 1/4″ longer than a 27M-sized lead acid battery. I got them installed, but barely without making any mods to the battery box. My advice is to enlarge the battery box first. If you don’t enlarge the box you’ll never get these batteries out of there if needed. For the Forest River and any newer RV, you’ll also have to change out your Battery Isolation Manager (BIM) from a model # 160 to BIM 225 to accommodate the new Lithium batteries. The BIM 225 is sold on Amazon. This install is easily done.

After seeing the review of this by Will Prowse on YouTube I decided to purchase this product. I am by no means an expert. I did use my battery tester and got 213Ah out of the battery at 5A for 10 hours and 10A for 19 hours(tester maxes out at 185w). Tester stopped at 10V so I don’t know if the battery BMS has a low voltage cutoff. I used it on July 4th to power a 1400w electric griddle through a PowerDrive 2000w inverter. We cooked burgers for over a half an hour. I bought the 200Ah 100A continuous model (not the Plus 200A continuous). Manual states 100A continuous discharge but I got 130A (tested with Klein clamp meter) and 115A using simple math on the inverter). Not sure if I got the 200A BMS or my readings are normal. Nonetheless inverter shut off a few times after 30 minutes or more but started right back up which leads me to believe problem wasn’t the battery. Inverter was sizzling hot (it was July 4th). Wires to battery were not hot. I bought another battery and plan to run them in parallel with the same inverter and cook for another 30 minutes to see if the inverter is the problem. If the battery really was shutting off due to excess discharge it kept it up for a very long time (manual indicates 100A max and 280A for 5 seconds max before shutoff). I charged it with the recommended 20A charger sold by AmpereTime. I tried to charge it with my 25A RC charger but it never went over 20A, perhaps because the state of charge was so high. I don’t know. This battery will be used in a controlled setting as needed (power outing, camping, etc) so lack of low temperature protection for charging does not effect my setup. Definitely would invest in appropriate sized cables. Started with 12 AWG silicone stranded wires used in Traxxas RC cars…which started smoking within a minute…but did work. Bought 2/0 wire that worked great but is unruly. Followed advice and bought 2/0 welding cable which is far more flexible and now have a decent system.

The 100ah mini is working well. I have it running a 55lb minn kota. We went out and trolled cranks at 2mph in the wind with my bay boat and at the end of the day still 13.3 volts. My dad has the normal size 100ah solorage and his results were the same. We were curious if the mini could keep up with the big battery and it does great. Get it while they have the coupon.

Love the size and space saving having limited space it gives me more options.

So far I’m digging them, though we just used them this last weekend in our travel trailer.

Super light, easy to transport, and has an excellent price for lithium. I wish it came with a charger as my charger is currently mounted to my boat so I will have to get a separate one for maintenance during the winter months. Will power my trolling motor way longer than my traditional deep cycle. The size is also great. Fits below my deck way easier than my traditional battery.

Great at helping me with my problem and fast delivery.

There are many things to consider when replacing a lead-acid battery with a LiFePO4 battery. The 12V 12Ah are not suitable for most replacement applications as they are 4.5 inches wide while most applications call for a 2.56 inch battery.

If you have not switched over to a Lifepo4 battery you need to. The benefits of longevity and weight alone make this battery work the buy. I also use this battery to power a few items in my house with a 1200w inverter to power some gadgets in the house when the power goes out.. Will be buying another very soon

While I did not use this battery.. it has great reviews by experts

Using this for a van solar system, it runs a dc fridge, fans, lights, my gaming laptop, anything really. I need to add more panels on my van to really get the best out of this, I’m only at 200w and my capacity is 600w so once that’s all hooked up I’ll give another update. This is a good battery with good features for a good price, and customer service is great! They quickly responded to send me the pdf manual of my battery when I couldn’t find my paper one. They really engage with you and work hard to create a one on one experience when helping you. The battery warranty is also great, 5 years and by that time you’ll be very familiar with your battery and solar system and everything should be optimized for longevity. I’ve definitely made alterations to my solar system wiring and layout and the performance gets better as I learn and make updates. The battery is definitely worth it and it’s my first recommendation to anyone starting solar projects and getting into off grid stuff.

UPDATE: Many months of use on my boat running heavier loads like small refrigerator and trim tabs, while being exposed to extreme temperatures, the battery is still working great! The form factor of the normal full size 100Ah battery doesn’t align well with the smaller Group 24 type batteries used on boats and small RVs. The Mini fits in a similar space to a group 24. I have been using it with a 20 amp dc-dc charger, and it charges up quickly. It just works, just like my prior Solorage battery, but in a better size!

Solorage has very good customer service and they make an exceptional product. I now have 3 of their 100 aH mini 12 volt batteries, and as I expand my system, I’ll buy more.

Only used once so far. I fished for 4 hours zero flaws. Such a small battery with a huge impact. I love it. Will be getting more for an off grid cabin with solar.

Cannot speak to longevity, but they appear to be well made and are functioning as they should.

Only years will tell how long the great preformance of my Solorage batteries will continue but, for now its the best battery for the price. I now have 4 of them in my small trailer. I have 400 watt 24 volt solar array on top of my trailer + 500 watt 24 volt solar array on my truck. Only issue I have noticed is when batteries drop to about 12.6 volts the discharge rate increases even with same load. It makes since as less voltage results in more current draw. Best to add a Low Voltage monitor or alarm to prevent excessive discharge. The battery management is great but, you will have to allow for a 2-3 day sync period when replacing or installing additional batteries.I am extremely Happy with my batteries. They are 60% cheaper that the BB name brand batteries.

I’ve had this for a week on my new solar array. Specs are correct, it’s 100aH for sure, lightweight for SURE, and does have low temp cutoff which I was nervous about due to it not being in the manual. However, I am very impressed with this battery and intend to buy another soon to increase my systems endurance.
